JAMES CORTY BLAGG SR. BELLWOOD _ JAMES CORTY BLAGG SR., 69, of Bellwood, Fayette County, died Feb. 24, 1990, at home after a long illness.
He was a 20-year resident of Bellwood, a retired miner, and a member and former trustee of Bellwood Baptist Church.
Surviving: wife, Ann Shirley Fury Blagg; daughters, Joyce Hedrick of Layland, Laura Blagg of Beckley; sons, James C. Jr. of
Dayton, Ohio, Keith of Jewell Ridge, Va., Herbert of Denver, N.C.; stepmother, Martha Blagg of Danese; sisters, Juanita Self of
Louisville, Ky., Maxine Fox of Meadow Bridge; brothers, Herbert of Russellville, Lee of Ballard; half-sisters, Kendall Lane of Layland,
Kay Hunter of Grassy Meadows, Connie Garten of Danese; stepsister,. Betty Stump of Hillton Village; half-brothers, Billy of Layland, Carl
of Danese, Denise(co) of Stony Gap; seven grandchildren.
Service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Wallace-Wallace Funeral Home, Rainelle, with the Rev. Donald Hedrick officiating. Burial.
will be in Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
