Rufus "Bud" Warner

Rufus "Bud" Warner of Shrewsbury, died at 1:09 a.m. yesterday at York Hospital. He was 64.
He retired in 1990 after 38 years with the former Cole Business Furniture Co., York. He was a member of the Victory Club, York, the Shrewsbury Volunteer Fire Co. and the American Bowling Congress.
Born in Seven Valleys, he was the son of the late Ralph and Florence E. Bupp Warner.
Mr. Warner leaves his wife, Betty M. Amspacher Warner; two daughters, Roxann Robbins and Carolyn Darr, both of York; three grandchildren; one brother, Marlin Warner, Shrewsbury, and three sisters, Marie Warner, Dallastown, Margaret Bricker, New Freedom, and Shirley Bennett, Freeland, Md.
A visitation is scheduled from 1 to 2 p.m. tomorrow at J. J. Hartenstein Mortuary, 24 Second St., New Freedom. A funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. at the mortuary with the Rev. J. William Anderson, interim pastor of Bethlehem (Steltz) Cooperative Parish, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
