Margaret Bricker

Seven Valleys - Margaret L. "Peg" Bricker, 91, died Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at ManorCare Health Services, Dallastown. She was the wife of the late Elias H. Bricker, to whom she had been married to for 39 years.
A visitation will be held from 9:30 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Bethlehem Steltz Reformed Church, 5890 Steltz Road, Glen Rock. The memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Thomas D. Bellis officiating.
Born June 20, 1924 in Springfield Township, York, Peg was the daughter of Ralph A. and Florence E. (Bupp) Warner.
Peg retired from the former AMF, Glen Rock, in 1989 after 16 years of service. She had previously worked for Hanover Shoe for seven years and helped her husband with the family farm in New Freedom.
She was a member of Seven Valleys Community Fire Company Ladies Auxilliary, the York New Salem Ladies Auxiliary, AARP, the Sunshine Sisters of Railroad and was a lifetime member of Bethlehem Steltz Reformed Church, Glen Rock.
She is survived by her children, Diane E. Comtois and her husband, Reg of Milton, Vt., Linda L. Ludwig and her husband, LaVerne of Seven Valleys, Nancy J. Stremmel and her husband, Dale of Orrstown and Wayne L. Bricker and his wife, Irene of Seven Valleys; nine grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Marie Warner, Shirley Bennett, Rufus "Bud" Warner and Marlin "Dick" Warner.
The family would like to thank the Deanie Taylor King Agency for the wonderful care Peg received while she was at her home and the caring and compassionate attention of the staff at ManorCare, Dallastown.
J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary, Inc., 24 N. Second St, New Freedom, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
