EAST BERLIN Marlin D. "Dick" Warner, Sr., 75, formerly of Shrewsbury, died Thursday, May 10, 2007, at York Hospital. He was the husband of Phyllis I. (Rinehart) Warner, with whom he celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary February 9, 2007. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 16, 2007, at the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock, with the Rev. Howard Edmondson and Pastor John D. Waltermyer officiating. Burial will be in New Freedom Cemetery with full military rites by the York County Veterans Honor Guard. A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Mr. Warner was born in Springfield Township, a son of the late Ralph A. and Florence E. (Bupp) Warner. He was a farmer for many years and retired in 1994 from the former J.E. Baker Company, where he was employed as Kiln Operator for over 20 years. He also worked at the former Superior Wire Cloth in Hungerford, Md. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. In addition to his wife, he leaves three daughters, Joyce E. Keener and Janice M. Krout, both of Glen Rock, and Janet A. Hengst of York; three sons, Marlin Dean Warner, Jr. and Bradley A. Warner, both of Dover, and Brett D. Warner of Somerset; 18 grandchildren; 26 greatgrandchildren; 10 great-greatgrandchildren; and a sister, Margaret Bricker of Seven Valleys. He was preceded in death by a son, Brian Warner; and a daughter, Jane E. Warmer.
