Florence E. Warner

FREELAND, Md. – Florence E. Warner, 89, formerly of Freeland, died Wednesday morning at Colonial Manor Nursing Home, York, Pa. She was the wife of the late Ralph A. Warner.
The service will be 11 a.m. Friday at the J. J. Hartenstein Mortuary Inc., 24 Second St., New Freedom, Pa. Burial will be in Bethlehem (Steltz) Cemetery. Viewing will be 9 to 11 a.m. Friday at the mortuary.
Mrs. Warner was born in Springfield Township, York County, Pa. She was the daughter of the late Samuel and Susan B. (Bupp) Bupp.
She retired in 1968 after 27 years at M and R Garments. Prior to that, she worked at Savada Brothers Sewing Factory, Glen Rock, Pa., for 10 years. She was a member of Bethlehem (Steltz) Lutheran Church, Glen Rock.
Mrs. Warner is survived by two sons, Rufus H. Warner and Marlin D. Warner Sr., both of Shrewsbury, Pa.; three daughters, Marie A. Warner of Dallastown, Pa., Margaret L. Bricker of New Freedom, and Shirley A. Bennett of Freeland; 21 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Richard C. Weaver.
