Statesboro - Mrs. Nora Groover Lee, 84, died Monday at Nightingale Nursing Home in Statesboro after a long illness. She was a lifelong resident of Bulloch County and was a member of Middleground Primitive Baptist Church in Statesboro.

Surviving are four sisters, Miss Esther Groover and Mrs. Mary Groover Tyson, both of Statesboro, and Mrs. Thelma Groover Elliott and Mrs. P. B. Hart, both of Augusta; three brothers, Sam H. Groover, Tom M. Groover and Bruce Groover, all of Statesboro; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. today at Middleground Primitive Baptist Church in Statesboro, with burial in the church cemetery. Barnes-Hodges Funeral Home of Statesboro is in charge.
