Funeral services for Ora Parmer Northington, 92, of Lampasas were held Saturday afternoon at Sheppard Memorial Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with Minister Kevin Haynes officiating. Burial followed in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Northington died Friday at Spring Oaks Terrace Nursing Home. She was born December 27, 1904, in Nolanville, to Wilson Parmer, Jr. and Minnie Lee Risinger Parmer. She was married to George Andrew Northington, was a housewife and belonged to the Church of Christ.
Survivors include three nieces; Kirby McMahan of Lometa; Carol Wright and Brenda Myers, of Lampasas; two nephews, Dale Parmer and Richard Parmer of Lometa; a half-sister, Jewel Perrin, of Fort Smith, Ark; and numerous other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband on March 30, 1989
Sheppard Memorial Funeral Home of Lampasas had charge of the arrangements.
