Harriet Jane Parmer Graves, 88, of Cassville, died August 10 at Cox Monett Hospital following a brief illness.
Mrs. Graves was born October 12, 1915, in Hondo, New Mexico, the daughter of Wilson and Josephine Dixon Parmer. She was a bookkeeper for a seed and grain company for many years and a real estate and insurance agent. She was also an Amway dealer for about 20 years. She was a member of the Church of Christ in the state of New Mexico. She had lived in Cassville since 1995.
She married Lloyd Elsie Graves on June 10, 1955, in Alamogordo, New Mexico, and he preceded her in death.
Survivors include one daughter, Jackie Britton of Cassville; one son, Gayle Graves of Cassville; one sister, Jewel Perrin of Muldrow, Oklahoma; two grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Roddy Graves; one brother, Ely Parmer; and 10 siblings.
Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, August 14, at Wheaton Funeral Home. The body will be cremated and services will be held in Deming, New Mexico, at a later date.
