I was born in Llano, Llano County, Texas in 1967 (No doctor in Mason at the time) and lived all of my childhood in Mason, Mason County, Texas. Senior Class 1985.
My father: Terry Gene Hooten born in 1938 in San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas.
My mother: LaRue Brockman Hooten born in 1944 in De Queen, Sevier County, Arkansas.
I have been interested in my ancestry and history for years but have never had the time to investigate.
Now that I am a stay at home dad and a stay at home son, I have the time to start discovering.
I joined ancestry and find a grave in 2019 at the age of 52.
I am happily married and have four children. Two grown girls,
one young girl, and one son, Jack Dant Hooten, in heaven.
