Mr. Parmer
Graveside funeral services for Filmore McKendrick parmer, of Lampasas were conducted Thursday afternoon in the Lometa City Cemetery with Minister Reid Schaub officiating.
Mr. Parmer died Wedsnesday morning in Rollins-Brook Hospital.
Born in Bell County, Mr. Parmer was a lifelong resident of Lampasas County. He married Irene Ivy on Dec. 24, 1934.
Mr. Parmer was retired rancher and a member of the Lometa Church of Christ.
Survivors include his son, Richard Parmer of Lometa; his daughter, Brenda Myers of Lampasas; two sisters, Mrs. Ora Northington of Lampasas and Mrs. Gladys Green of Oklahoma City, Okla., seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Briggs-Gamel-Wilcox Funeral Directors had charge of all arrangements.
