Mrs. Jacob (Corda O. Christie) Lockart, 82, of Moweaqua died 8:25 am Friday in Woodland nursing home, Mt. Zion. Funeral services will be 2 pm Sunday in Sherwood funeral home, Moweaqua with visitation after 4 pm Saturday. Burial will be in IOOF cemetery, Moweaqua.
Mrs. Lockart was born in LaPlace, daughter of Thomas and Rose Christie. She was a member of Moweaqua Christian church.
She married Jacob Lockart in 1911. He died in 1961. Surviving are son, George of Moweaqua, daughters, Mrs. Virginia Adams and Mrs. Wanda Baird, both of Moweaqua, foster son, Carl Wyatt of Moweaqua, half sister, Mrs. Orlena Brown of Shelbyville, 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren.
