Originally from Quincy & Dorchester, Massachusetts. As a teenager one of her favorite things was to go sailing out of the Quincy Yacht Club with her friends, many of which she kept for her lifetime. She married Harry F Sampson and had 4 children. June was proud to become one of the first GRAY LADIES medical volunteers. While living for years in Portsmouth, New Hampshire her artwork in water colors, oils, chalk and ink allowed her the prestige of becoming a member of the Kittery Art Association. Her work was purchased by many and some are in Europe, England, and Italy. She was in the Debary Nursing Home, Debary, Florida for several years before her passing. At her request, she was cremated. June was preceded by her husband.
