Like many of his brothers, Harold worked at the Bethlehem Steel Shipyard. He helped build many ships for WWII, many built in record breaking time. He married Eva Leona Burgess and they had 2 children. Their only son Harold B, died at the Pennsylvania Shipyard in an explosion at 24 yrs old.
He was an avid HAM RADIO operator and aided many military men to contact stateside families, and conveyed important wartime messages.
As he lived on the farthest point of Houghs Neck he could overlook Massachusetts Bay. He lived most of his life at 99 Island Ave and cared for his mother until she passed at the age of 99.
Harold has 4 grandchildren, all of them gave him 6 great grandchildren before his passing.
