Mrs. Ida Mabel Blackburn Cox, 53 of route 3, Loris died suddenly at her home Saturday.
Mrs. Cox was born in Horry County a daughter of the late Charlie V. Blackburn and Mrs. Balsoria Grainger Blackburn.
Surviving inn addition to her mother and husband, Lece M. Cox of Loris are three brothers, Paul Blackburn of Fairfax, VA, Jack Blackburn of Wilmington, NC and Bill Blackburn of Dallas, TX; three sisters, Mrs. Pauline Small of Monte Belle, CA, Mrs. Estelle Bailey of Tampa, FL, and Mrs. Jo Ann Kerr of Wilmington, NC.
Services were conducted Monday at Hardwick Memorial Chapel with burial in Twin City Memorial Gardens.
