Herman Taylor Knapp, 78, of New Haven, West Virginia died on June 17, 2007 at his residence.
He was born on August 11, 1928 in New Haven, WV son of the late Melvin Brady Knapp and Helen Grinstead Knapp. He was a retired Ironworker.
He is survived by: two children, Beverly Marie Knapp of Ravenswood, WV and Hermetta Kay (Homer Ruble) Knapp of New Haven, WV; three grandsons, JR (Marie) Hysell of New Haven, WV, Ricky Wolfe and Nicholas Wolfe of Ravenswood, WV; two step grandchildren, Brittany and Chelse Roush; brothers and sisters, Harry T. Knapp of New Haven, WV, Jo Ann Taylor of New Haven, WV, Mary Fry of New Haven, WV, Patty Paugh of New Haven, WV, Peggy (Bob) Harless of Mason, WV and Sharon (Kenny) Vickers of New Haven, WV.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of fifty five years Alice Marie Knapp; three brothers, Richard, Douglas and Brady Knapp and a sister Marjorie Gibbs.
Graveside funeral services will be held on Tuesday June 19, 2007 at 11:00am at Graham Cemetery with Kenneth Vickers officiating.
