Helen O. Knapp, 84, Letart, W.Va., died Sunday in Pleasant Valley Hospital.

Born Oct. 21, 1900, in New Haven, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Richard A. and Susan E. Roush Grinstead.

Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Marjorie Gibbs, Mrs. JoAnna Taylor, Mrs. Sharon Vickers, Mrs. Mary Fry, Mrs. Pat Paugh, Mrs. Sharon Vickers, all of New Haven, and Mrs. Peggy Harless of Columbus; two sons, Harry Knapp of Columbus, and Herman Knapp of New Haven; two sisters, Mrs. Ella Roush of New Haven, and Mrs. Alice Miller of Marietta; two brothers, Pete Grinstead of New Haven, and Richard Grinstead of Canton; and 20 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Foglesong Funeral Home, Mason, W.Va., with the Rev. George Weirick officiating. Burial will be in Graham Cemetery. Friends may call the funeral home after 2 p.m. Tuesday.
