Chapin, Fremont Jackson Born Wed. Dec 3, 1856. Born in own log house on the north forty acres. Born in Sulivan Twp, Jefferson Co Wisc P O Oak Hill

Left Wisc for Neb. about Sep 27, 1878

Married to Laura Porter Dec 17, 1882. To this union one son was born, namely W. L. Chapin. Mrs. (Porter) Chapin died Mar 10, 1887.

Mr. Chapin married the second time to Addie Chilson Sep 13, 1891. To this union seven children born: Lola Zimmerman, Verna ?, Beula Haas, Letha Avery, Lyle, Arleen, Rhea.

Mr. Chapin died Sep 24, 1925. Died from the effect of injury recv'd on his farm near Oberlin, Kans. Aged 68 yrs, 9 mos, 21 days. Mr. Chapin was a member of the Prairie Temple Baptist Church in Logan Twp.
