Lula May Lee

Lula May Lee, daughter of the late Stephen Lonnie and Lidda Hall Austin, was born May 26, 1907 at Beach Grove, Ark., and departed this life March 30, 1974 at the West Plains Memorial Hospital at the age of 66 years, ten months and four days.

She was united in marriage to Asa Allen Lee Sept. 23, 1925 at Beach Grove, Ark., and to this union nine children were born. Her husband, parents and two daughters preceded her in death.

She is survived by three sons, Irvin Lee of Gerald, Mo., Richard Lee of Dittmer, Mo., and Gary Lee of Mena, Ark., four daughters, Mildred Cacciapaglia of Rockford, Ill., Pauline Woodruff of St. Louis, Mo., Janice Switzer of Kansas City, Mo., and Betty Leslie of Alton, Mo. 18 grandchildren,* one great grandchild; her step-mother Mary Austin of Beach Grove, Ark., two brothers, Ott Austin of Beach Grove, Ark., Henry Austin of the state of Michigan, and three sisters, Virginia Gray of Beech Grove, Ark., and Jewell Weaver of Bono, Ark.

She was a Christian and a member of the Freewill Baptist Church.
