Iva "Jewell" Weaver, 85, of Bono, died Sunday, Nov. 16, 2003, at Lawrence Hall Nursing Center in Walnut Ridge.

She was born July 19, 1918, in Greene County. She was service center director at Crowley's Ridge Development Council for 30 years and a member of Walnut Corner General Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Corbett Weaver; one son, Jerry Weaver; her parents, Lonnie and Mary Miller Austin; three brothers; four sisters; two grandsons, Lonnie and Brian Lee; one granddaughter, Kimberly Joan Lee; one great-great-grandson, Aaron Nelson.

Survivors include two sons, Larry Don Weaver of Santa Barbara, Calif., and Clarence Weaver of Bono; and two daughters, Shelba Lee and Peggy Brown, both of Bono.

The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Heath Colonial Chapel with the Rev. Marion Stringer officiating.

Burial will be at Mr. Zion Cemetery in Walcott under the direction of Heath Funeral Home of Paragould.

Pallbearers are Burt A. Lee, Keith Lee, Shannon Lee, Bradley Nelson, Deborah Smith, and Kimberly Lee.

Honorary pallbearers are Christopher Nelson, Linda Hancock, and Lloyd Hefner.

Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Arkansas Children's Hospital, P.O. Drawer 2222, Little Rock, AR 72203-2222.
