Betty Ann Robinson, 61, daughter of the late Asa Lee and Lula May Austin Lee, was born January 9, 1941 in Thomasville, MO. She died May 22, 2002 in St. Louis, MO at Barnes Hospital.
She was united in marriage to Waif Robinson in 1974 in Alton, MO.
She was a homemaker, a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
She was of the Freewill Baptist faith.
Survivors include her husband, Waif, of Alton, MO; two sons, Brient Leslie and wife Sherry Ann, of Independence, MO; and Randy Leslie and wife Wendy, of Independence, MO; one daughter, Angela Dawn Robinson of Alton, MO; seven grandchildren, Shane Leslie, Lauren Leslie, Nicholas Leslie, Morgan Poe, Kevin Marler, Anna Greathouse and Kyla Walker; three brothers, Irvin Lee and wife Peggy of Timber, MO; Richard Lee and wife Wilda of West Plains, MO; and Gary Lee and wife Anna of Mena, AR; three sisters, Mildred Cacciapaglia of Henderson, NV; Pauline Woodruff of Alton, MO; and Janice Switzer and husband Dave of Alton, MO; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Hazel Bales and Odean Lee.
Services were May 26, 2002 at Carter Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Sample officiating. Burial was at Smith Cemetery in Alton, MO, under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc. of Thayer, MO.
Pallbearers were Danny Bettis, Stephen Colley, Larry Poe, Herman Holmes, Jeff Thompson, and Darron Lee.
