Born July 18, 1926 in Emlenton, he was the son of John and Lillian Walley Cook.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Mr. Cook was a U.S. Navy veteran.
He had worked for T.W.Phillips Gas and Oil and had been the owner of the Red Garter Bar on Jefferson St.
Surviving by his wife, Marilyn Joyce Mahood Cook, whom he married Oct. 20, 1946; two daughters, Mrs. John (Leslie) Book Denver, Co.; three sisters, Agnes M. Kiser of North Washington, Mrs. J.E. Scotty (Betty) Glad and Mrs. Edward (Verda) Hutchison both of Butler; a brother, Ray L. Cook of Grove City; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.
There will be no visitation. Funeral services and burial will be held at the convenience of family. Arrangements are by Young Funeral Home, Butler.
