Frank William Willis, 65, of Havre de Grace, died Sept. 14 at the Perry Point VAMC.

He and his wife, Viola Catron Willis, owned and operated the Willis Boarding Home in Havre de Grace for many years. He continued to operate the home after the death of his wife in 1966.

Earlier, Mr. Willis worked on various dairy farms. He was an Army Veteran of World War II.

Born in Bluefield, W.VA, he was the son of the late Elmer Willis and Gervice Minnie Stevens Crigger.

He is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth Willis of Aberdeen and Linda Wing of Havre de Grace; four brothers, George W. Crigger of Havre de Grace, James Willis and Arlon Crigger, both of Wytheville, VA and Edward Willis of Dundalk; five sisters, Minnie Beidelman and Touce Stockson, both of Aberdeen, Kate Tell of Churchville, Ruby Catallo of NY and Jean Greiner of Golden, Col.; and two grandchildren.

Graveside services were held Sept 18 at the Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery. The Rev. Ronald D. Estep officiated.

Arrangements were directed by the Howard K. McComas III Funeral Home P.A. in Abington.
