George W. Crigger of Aberdeen died Jun 21 at his home. He was 64.

Born in Whiteford, he was the sone of the late George Lewis and Minnie Gervis Stevens Crigger.

Mr. Crigger worked as a mill wright. He served his country in the Navy and enjoyed fishing and collecting coins, old toys & antiques.

Mr. Crigger is survived by his wife, Janice Storrs Crigger; three sons, Wesley Crigger of Havre de Grace, Scott Andrew Crigger of Aberdeen and Bradley Crigger of Elkton; three daughters, Sharon Gossman of Hanover, PA, Kelly Timms of Havre de Grace and Jenna Anderson of Aberdeen; four sisters, Jean Greiner of Lamar, Ark., Kate Tell of Churchville, Ruby Willis of NY and Tootse Willis of Churchville; three stepsons, Joseph Gobble of Havre de Grace, Kenneth Gobble of Middlwtown, Del. and Terry Gobble of Gainesville, FL, 20 grandchildren; nieces and nephews and his friends Bill & Breta Kilby whom he knew since he was a boy.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a son, Todd Crigger who was killed in a motorcycle accident; four brothers, Arland "Possum" Crigger, Frank Willis, Ed "Tiny" Willis and James Willis; and a sister Minnie Willis.

Memorial services were held Tuesday at McComas Funeral Home in Abingdon with the Bishop Ronald Estep officiating.
