She worked in the meat department for the A&P Grocery Store for 23 ½ years and was a member of the American Legion Women's Auxiliary. Mrs. Tell is survived by her son, Lonnie G. Sawyer of Catawba, VA; sisters, Virginia Stockson of Aberdeen and Ruby Catello of Waterford, New York; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
