Catherine Delores McClintock, 75, of Port Orchard died Feb. 15, 2000, in Port Orchard of natural causes. She was born May 5, 1924 in Eugene, Ore. to Irvin M. and Olive (Sutherland) Clark. She grew up in Oakridge, Ore. graduating from Oakridge High Schhol in 1943. She married Herbert McClintock on Jan. 24,1946 in Stevenson. He preceded her in death in 1999. Mrs. McClintock was a homemaker. Previously, she had worked as a Western Union telegraph operator in Portland, Ore. Survivors include one son, Gary of Redmond; three daughters, Paul McClintock of Port Orchard, Dale McClintock of Vacaville, Calif. and Gail Alagna of South Cobly; five brothers, Larry and Doug clark, both of Oakridge, Jerry Clark of Creswell, Ore., Terry Clark of Corvallis, Ore. and Ken Clark of Bremerton; two sisters, Gloria Jean of Oregon and Flora Pugh of Philomath, Ore.; nine grandchildren, Derik, Grayson, Taylor, Benicia and Reed McClintock, Sarah Nakano, Misha Severson and Arden and Elias Alagna; and great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Ava McClintock, in 1998. A gathering of family and friends is planned for 1 p.m. Saturday at the McClintock home in Port Orchard. Arrangements are under the direction of Pendleton-Gilchrist Funeral home at Rill Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Ava McClintock Memorial Scholarship Fund through Olympic College of Kitsap Community Federal Credit Union, 1025 Burwell Street, Bremerton, WA 98337.
