Sue never married and had no children. In the 1850 & 1860 census she lived with her family in Pickens, SC. In the 1870 & 1880 census she and her family lived in Seneca, SC, (this may have been the same home place but a name change in the district). In the 1900 census her father had already died and she lived with her brother, John Earle Lewis, Sr, (my grandfather) in Seneca, along with her widowed mother and single sister, Sallie.
Sue's father, Andrew Fielding Lewis, was one of the signers of the S.C. Secession from the Union in 1860.
