Private services are being held for former Catoosan, James D. "Jim" Conley, 61. He died Jan. 11, 1989 in Long Beach, California following a lengthy illness. A World War II veteran, he served with the U.S. Navy. Survivors include his wife, Bernie, of the home; three sons, Johnny, Jimmy, and Billy; and one daughter, Connie, all of Long Beach. Also surviving are one sister, Bernice Conley, Catoosa; four granddaughters; nieces and nephews.
