OBITUARY:
Graveside services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Duck Cemetery for Bernice Conley, 64, who died Monday in a Catoosa nursing home. The Rev. Harry Myers will officiate. Bernice was born Oct. 5, 1924 in Catoosa, the daughter of William and Maude Conley. She graduated from Catoosa High School and had worked for McDonnell-Douglas for more than 25 years. She was a member of the Baptist Church and was a lifelong resident of Catoosa. She is survived by one brother-in-law, Junior Lemons of Chelsea; one sister-in-law, Bernie Conley of Long Beach, Ca.; one niece, Marcia Allison of Broken Arrow and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a kind and loving deed be performed in her memory. Interment will be in Duck Cemetery under the direction of the Kennard Funeral Home.
