OBITUARY:
Funeral services were conducted Friday in the Assembly of God Church for Virginia Lemons, 59, who died Wednesday at her home in Broken Arrow. Officiating were the Rev. Harry Myers and the Rev. Tom Goins. A native of Catoosa, she attended schools and lived most of her life here, moving to Broken Arrow in 1981. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church. Along with her husband, Herman, she operated the Antique Mall, east of Catoosa on Admiral, after collecting antiques since her childhood. Survivors are her husband, Herman Lemons, Jr., of the home; two daughters, Marcia Allison of Broken Arrow and Gwen Nolte of Oceanside, Calif.; two sons, Danny Cochran of Fort Sill and John Cochran of Stillwater; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Jim Conley of Long Beach, Calif. and Pete Conley of Catoosa; and one sister, Bernice Conley of Catoosa. Interment was in Dick Duck Cemetery under the direction of Kennard Funeral Service.
