STUARTS DRAFT-William Rudolph Wagner, 81, of Route 1, died Tuesday Waynesboro Community Hospital.
He was born Nov. 9, 1904, in Lyndhurst, a son of the late Elmer Stuart and Willie Baber Wagner.
Mr. Wagner was a member of Stuarts Draft Baptist Church and an employee of Du Pont Co., prior to retiring with 35 years of service.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary Sue Borden Wagner; two sons, Thomas R. Wagner of Stuarts Draft and Richard L. Wagner of Waynesboro; one brother, Riley Wagner of Macomb, Ill., four grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
A service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of McDow Funeral Home by the Rev. Judson Baldwin. Burial will be in Augusta Memorial Park.
Active pallbearers will be Page D. Young, Hewitt Brooks, Thomas Fitzgerald, Roscoe Lucas, Roy Campbell and Gerald Sholes.
Honorary pallbearers will be Tobey Yoder, Alvin Schrock, John Beiler, Robert Balsley, John E. Campbell and members of the Men's Bible Class of Stuarts Draft Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends in the residence at any time.
There will be no public viewing.
