ALICE BOONE HINKLE, daughter of James and Louisa Boone and one of a family of twelve, was born at Milo, Yates Co., N.Y., Aug., 30, 1858 and departed this life at her home at 4 Waldron St., Hillsdale, Mich., Oct 4th 1923 at the age of 65yr 1 mo and 4 days.

She came to Michigan with her parents, Mar. 13th 1865 and settled in Cambria Township where she spent many years of her life. On Dec. 15th, 1885 she was united in marriage to Edgar Hinkle of Woodbridge with whom he lived until his demise three years ago. After his death she moved to Hillsdale where she has since made her home.

To the union there was born 4 sons, Mylon of Jackson, Mich., Earl of Cambria, Don of Hillsdale and Dean of Adams Township. Besides these sons, there is left to mourn her loss two step-daughters, Mrs Luna Shaw of North Adams and Mrs. Ina Scoville of Hillsdale and sixteen grandchildren.

Also three brothers and three sisters, Mrs Sarah Easling of Hillsdale, George Boone of Elkhart, Ind., Mrs Anna Walsh
of Eaton Rapids, Mich., Edwin W. Boone of Hillsdale, Mrs Flora Simmons of Hillsdale, Frank Boone of Hillsdale, besides a host of relatives and other friends.
