NEUENSCHWANDER RITES HELD
Peter Neuenschwander, 36, Dies Thursday Afternoon
Peter Neuenschwander, 36, died at his home two miles west and one-half mile south of Berne Thursday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock. He had been suffering from an enlarged heart and dropsy for the past five years and his condition became more serious this week.
The deceased was a son of Abraham M. and Miriam Moser Neuenschwander and was born on the farm on which he died, August 3, 1899.
He was a resident of the county for about sixteen years having moved to Wayne county for a period of about 19 years and coming back to this community a year ago last March.
Surviving are his mother and the following brothers and sisters: Abraham and Amos with whom he farmed west of Berne, Mrs Peter Neuhauser of west of Berne; Mrs. Amos Steiner, Mrs. Levi Steiner, Mrs. John Steiner, Mrs. Simon Nussbaum, Sam and Jacob, all of Wayne county, Ohio.
Two sisters, Caroline and Maryann, a brother Ben and an infant preceded.
Funeral services were held at the home at 1:30 Sunday afternoon with Rev. C. N. Stucky officiating. Burial was made in the Moser cemetery.
