SISTER OF AMOS NEUENSCHWANDER DIES
NATIVE OF COMMUNITY IS HEART ATTACK VICTIM
Amos A. Neuenschwander of southwest of Berne, received word on Thursday morning of the death of his sister, Mrs. Simon (Sarah) Nussbaum, 59, of Orrville, Ohio, Rural Route. Her death was attributed to a heart attack which occurred on Sunday, and after being in a hospital for four days in an oxygen tent. She had made satisfactory progress, but passed suddenly at 4:00 a.m. yesterday morning.
Mrs. Nussbaum was a native of this community and was born on September 7, 1897, a daughter of Abraham and Miriam Moser Neuenschwander. At the age of 19, she moved from here with her parents to Wayne County, Ohio.
Surviving in addition to her husband are three sons and four daughters and two grandchildren. Two sons died in infancy.
Three brothers, Jacob and Sam of Wayne County, Ohio, and Amos of Berne; two sisters, Mrs. Amos (Katie) Steiner and Mrs. Levi (Lydia) Steiner, of Orrville and Dalton respectively, survive. Four sisters and four brothers preceded her.
Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the Desvoignes Funeral Home at Mt .Eaton, Ohio.
