After the death of his first wife, Andrew went to Europe around 1753 or 1754 and returned on the ship Recovery, on October 23, 1754, to Wilmington, Delaware.
Andrew was married twice, first in about 1744 to Maria Catrina, and second on Nov 6 1759 Catherine. He is thought to have had seven children.
