OBITUARY

George Bolman

Monmouth - Services for George Rolland Bolman, 65, of Monmouth, who died Sunday in the Memorial Unit of Salem Hospital, will be 3 p.m. Friday in the Scio Baptist Church. Private burial follows and Huston Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the Oregon Heart Association.
Bolman was born May 23, 1917, in Baca County, Colorado, and moved to Scio in 1936 from Kansas.
He was a millworker and farmer before purchasing Monmouth Building Materials in 1975, which he operated until July of this year. Bolman was a member of the Scio Baptist Church.
He married Clara E. Keller on March 24, 1940, in Scio. she survives.
Other survivors include six sons Robert and Kenneth, both of Scio, Keith, Albany, Roger, Monmouth, Richard, Windsor, Calif., and Rodney serving with the U.S. Air Force in Italy; three daughters, Sharon McCready, Nancy Barghini, and Norma Boyanovsky, all of Scio; three sisters, Aldena Madarus, Albany, Edith Meritt, Prineville, and Lettie Randall, El Cajon, calif.; one brother, Estel Bolman, Albany; 19 granchildren, and one great-granddaughter.
