OBITUARY
Sophia Bolman

Funeral services for Sophia P. Bolman, 87, 805 S.E. 19th Ave., who died Wednesday at Sunset Care Center, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the Scio Christian Church. Kenneth Hooton will officiate and private burial follows at Waverly Cemetery in Albany. Huston Funeral Home in Lebanon is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the Scio Christian Church or the Oregon Heart Fund.
Mrs. Bolman was born Oct. 29, 1891, in Cross Timbers, Mo.
She was raised in Missouri and moved to Kansas in 1912. She lived there until September of 1936, when she moved to Scio. Mrs. Bolman lived at Scio until July of 1977, when she moved to Albany.
She was a member of Scio Christian Church.
She married George M. Bolman Nov. 27, 1912, in Sedgwick County, Kansas. He died in 1948.
Survivors include two sons, Estel, Albany, and George, Monmouth; three daughters, Edith Meritt, Prineville, Aldena Madarus, Albany, Lettie Randall, El Cajon, Calif; one step-sister; 32 grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; 71 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren. A son Francis, died in 1959.
