Lettie Mae Randall of Albany died Sunday, at Good Samaritan Hospital. She was 72.
She was born in Kansas. Her family moved to Scio in 1937, then to Lacomb during her junior year in high school. She graduated from Lebanon High School in 1947. She married Clifford Carl Randall June 19, 1953, in San Diego. They retired to Albany during the summer of 1966. After her husband died in March 1977, she moved to El Cajon, Calif. She returned to Albany in 1990.
She was active in the First Church of God's women's group and as a lay minister. She served as Pastor Martin Shrout's secretary for a few years before working as a bookkeeper at Elmer's Restaurant until November 2001.
Survivors include her son, John of Beaver Creek; daughters, Pam Garland of Corvallis, Sherlylynn of Ashdown, Ark., Penny Haworth-Rich of Sarasota, Fla., and Candi Elliott of Oxnard, Calif.; brother, Estel Bolman of Albany; sister, Aldeana Madarus of Ontario; 13 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
