Lawrence Terfehr, 94, of Harwood, ND, formerly of Breckenridge and Kent, MN, died June 25, 2008 at Christine, ND.
His funeral will be held on Saturday, June 28, at 11:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Breckenridge, MN with Fr. Kenneth Popp and Fr. John Cavanaugh officiating.
Visitation will be held Friday, June 27, 2008, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM at Joseph Vertin & Sons Funeral Home, Breckenridge. There will also be visitation on Saturday morning from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Interment will be at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Breckenridge.

Lawrence Terfehr was born on June 21, 1914, to John and Rose (Nordick) Terfehr at home. He grew up on his parent's farm near Kent, MN, and attended school there. Lawrence married Agnes Althoff on November 17, 1948 in Mooreton and moved to their first home in 1949 at rural Wolverton, MN, where they lived for forty-nine years. They retired from farming in 1976, and in 1998, Lawrence and Agnes moved to Breckenridge, MN. He worked side by side with his wife and nine children on their dairy farm, where they also raised livestock and grain. They also grew Job's tears plants which produced "beads" that were used in the rosaries he made. He was active in his church, Catholic Order of Foresters, and in Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life.
Pallbearers will be Lawrence's grandchildren: Jason Siebels, Eric Walter, Chad Wheeler, Scott Harris, Kyle Thompson, Derek Nordick, Nathan Terfehr, Bradley Terfehr
