Mrs. Laura Myrtle Lynch Dies In Hospital; Rites To Be Held on Saturday

Mrs. Laura Myrtle Lynch, wife of William A. Lynch, died at 10:30 last night at the Dunn Memorial Hospital, where she had been admitted Tuesday night.

Funeral services have been arranged for 2 p.m. D.S.T. Saturday at the First Christian Church here. The Rev. Leland Plew, pastor of the church, will officiate.

Mrs. Lynch was born in Martin County on November 30, 1884, the daughter of George and Mary Sheeks Fields. She was married to Mr. Lynch in June of 1904, and the family came to Lawrence County in 1916. Since that time, they have lived about two and a half miles east of the Wesley Chapel Church in Marion Township.

Mrs. Lynch was a member of the Christian Church at Shoals.

Immediate survivors are the husband, two sons, Kenneth A. Lynch of Madison and John R. Lynch of Route 3, Mitchell, six grandchildren; a brother, Albert J. Fields of Bedford; and a sister, Mrs. A. D. Beeler of Indianapolis.

Friends may call at the family residence after 1 p.m. Friday. Burial will take place in the Sheeks Cemetery, with the Haverly Mortuary in charge of funeral details.
