Word has been received in this city of the death of Mrs. George Fields of Bedford.
Mrs. Fields was well known in this city where she resided with her husband, George Fields, who was county treasurer two terms. She made many warm friends while here who will regret to hear of her death.
Mrs. Fields was about sixty-five years of age. She leaves to mourn three daughters, Mrs. William Lynch, Bedford; Miss Fern and Miss Addie who are at home; and one son, Albert Fields who is now Mayor of Bedford.
