Dr. John Gaddis and Peace Madison Gaddis were brothers and when Marian (Lloyd) Gaddis their Mother died, Dr. John was living in Floyd, La. and asked Peace to move to Floyd and live with him. Peace, 19 years old, moved there and went to work for Willie Ann (Bradley's) 2nd husband who had a store in Floyd, La.
