Lester L. Adams, Mt. Carmel, died on May 10, 1981. He was born May 30, 1930 in Mt. Carmel, the son of Charles "Code" and Hattie (Windle) Adams.
Surviving are five children, Beverley Williams, Cedar Lake,Ill.; Rodney Adams and John Keith Adams, Chicage,Ill. Brad Adams, Bone Gap, Ill. and Candi Adams, Champaign, Ill. five grandchildren three brothers, Orville(Bill),and Alfred,Bobby Gene Adams, all of Mt. Carmel; two sisters, Mary Ann Miller, Mt. Carmel, and Pansy Howder, Keensburg.
Preceding him in death were his parents; one son, Lester Wayne; three sisters, Ethel McClellan, Eileen Smith and Fredia Adams.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Highland Memorial Cemetery with Rev. John Yarbor offciating.
Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Monday at the Roy D. Short Funeral Home.
