died Dec. 2,1980 at Monticello Nursing Home.She was born Oct.28,1913 in Mt.Carmel the daughter of Charles and Hattie (Windle)Adams. She was united in marriage to Ben Sherman then to George Smith and then to Archie McClellan all deccased.
Surviving are two sons Benny Sherman of Centralia; Jim Smith of Mt.Carmel. Two daughters
Delores Dooley,Mt.Carmel and Ruth Ann Hinderliter, of Princeton,Ky. two step-sons Kenny Smith,O'Fallon,Mo.and George Smith of Bridgewater,Va. two step-daughters Betty Jo Shackelford of Springfield and Lois Jean Cockerham of Middletown,Ok. Threebrothers Alfred and Bobby Adams Mt.Carmel and Orville Adams Lancaster; two sisters Mary Ann Miller of Mt. Carmel, Pansy Howder,Keensburg; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents three husbands,two daughters Mamie Sherman and Betty Lou Hall and two sisters Eileen Smith and Freda Adams.
Mrs. McClellan was a member of the Penecostal Assembly of God Church.
