Pansy M. Howder, 78, Mt.Carmel, died Nov.5,1993 at Shurtleff Manor. She was born Aug. 29,1917 in Mt. Carmel the daughter of Charles and Hattie(Windle) Adams.
She married Austin Howder on May 29,1937 in Mt.Carmel, and he preceded her in death.
Mrs Howder,a member of the Pentecostal Church, was a homemaker.
Surviving are three daughts, Patricia Deisher and Karen Russell of Mt. Carmel, and Kathy Byrns of Owensville, Ind.; two sons James and Robert Howder of Mt. Carmel; a brother, Orville Adams of Lancaster; a sister, Mary Ann Miller of Keensburg; 29 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were a daughter, Winnifred Green, a son, Kenneth Howder and brothers and sisters Ethel Smith,Eileen Smith,Lester, Bobby and Alfred Adams, and Freda Adams.
Services were held at 2p.m today , Nov. 6, at Short Memorial Chapel with burial in Highland Memorial Cemetery.
