Anna Schmalfeldt Clausen 1870-1950

Bryant - Mrs. Anna Clausen, 79, died at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Jane Lamb hospital, Clinton. The body is in Pape funeral home, Clinton, where a prayer service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday. Services will be at 2 p.m. in Zion Lutheran church, Clinton, with the Rev. F.E. Schoenbohm officiating. Burial will be in Center Grove cemetery. Anna Schmalfeldt was born Nov. 17, 1870, at Bryant, daughter of the late Peter and Mary Schmalfeldt. She was married March 3, 1893, at Onslow to John F. Clausen, who preceded her in death. She was a member of Zion Lutheran church and the Royal Neighbors of America. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Herbert Lorezen, Bryant; Roxanna, at home, and Mrs. Cecil Carl, LaGrange, Ill., one son, Harry, at home; two grandchildren, a niece and a nephew. She was also preceded by one son, one brother and five sisters.
