HARROD - Mrs. Augusta Rosetta Landfair, 83, died at 9:30 a.m. Sunday in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Miles Branstetter, Route 1, Harrod, with whom she had made her home the last several years. Mrs. Landfair had been ill two years and in serious condition the last week.
A native and lifelong resident of Hardin County, she was married to George E. Landfair Oct. 6, 1892. He died Feb. 23, 1924. She was a member of Maysville Methodist Church and the Pleasant Hill Woman's Society of Christian Service.
Besides her daughter, she is survived by a son, Robert N., Mansfield; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three brothers, John and Frank Carman, Route 1, Alger, and Arthur, Route 1, Lafayette.
The body will remain in the Hanson Funeral Home, Alger, for services at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Virgil Dearbaugh will officiate and burial will be in Ada Woodlawn Cemetery.
