Mrs. Carrie Carman Cooney

ALGER, June 24 - Services for Mrs. Carrie Carman Cooney, 75, who died at 2:15 p.m. Saturday in her home, Route 1, Alger, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Huntersville Methodist church. The Rev. Gerald Erter, pastor, and the Rev. Lawrence Cordrey, Maysville, will officiate. Burial will be in Preston cemetery, Alger.

Mrs. Cooney died of a paralytic stroke following an illness of three days. She was born in Hardin-co and had been a lifelong resident of the Alger vicinity. She was a member of the WSCS of the Huntersville church.

Surviving are two granddaughters, Mrs. Alva Kearns and Miss Connie Cooney, Alger; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Augusta Landfair, Route 1, Harrod; three brothers, John Carman, Route 1, Alger; Arthur, Route 1, Lafayette, and Frank, Route 2, Ada.

The body will remain at the funeral home where friends may call after 2 p.m. Sunday. The body will be removed to the church at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday to await services.
