Plant Worker Succumbs From Fall Injuries
Elmer H Brunson, 54, Woods Cross boilermaker, died Friday afternoon after falling from a scaffolding at the Utah Oil Refining Co. Plant.

After being taken to a Salt Lake City hospital, Mr Brunson died about 6:45 p.m. Attending physicians said he died of a skull fracture and punctured lung.

Details of the accident were sketchy. There were no witnesses to the fall. The man's co-workers called for a private ambulance and reported that the fall didn't seem serious.

Fell From Scaffold
At the hospital, shortly before his death, the victim told doctors he had fallen from a scaffold. Hugh M Thompson, plant chief engineer, said Mr Brunson was a worker for Keyes Tank Co., a Provo concern which has been working on a contract for Utoco. Police had report of the fall.

Elmer Howard Brunson was born Jan 6, 1897, at Woods Cross, a son of Hyrum and Clarissa Ann Howard Brunson. He married Ethyl Pederson April 16, 1920, in Ogden. The marriage was later solumnized in the Salt Lake temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

World War I Veteran
A veteran of Workd War I, he had served in navy aviation. He was a member of Boilermakers local union 182. He also was a member of the Seventies quorum at Val Verde L D S ward.

Survivors include his widow, Woods Cross; three daughters: Mrs John A [Allison] Patterson, Mrs K V [June Loraine] Larsen, and Mrs Dean R [Patricia J] Hepworth, all of Salt Lake City; five grandchildren; his father, Midvale, and four sisters: Mrs Theodore Anderson, Mrs Clarissa Anderson, Mrs John Pennman, all of Salt Lake City, and Miss Edith Brunson, Provo.

(Special) Fall Victim's Rites Slated
Funeral services for Elmer H Brunson, 54, Woods Cross boilermaker who died Friday after falling from a scaffold at Utah Oil Refining Co.'s plant in North Salt Lake, will be conducted here Tuesday at 2 p.m.

Services for Mr Brunson, who died in a Salt Lake hospital Friday at 5 p.m. about two hours after his fall, will be conducted at the Orchard ward chapel, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, at Woods Cross, by C Wallace Rollings, bishop of Vall Verde ward.

Friends may call at 260 E South Temple in Salt Lake City Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday at the residence of Edward F Pedersen at Woods Cross from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in Bountiful City cemetery.
