Alexander Thomas Pritchartt was the son of Lewis Samuel Pritchartt and Roxanna Grigsby. Not sure if the following record is for him as further study under way. He was a mail-route agent for the Manassas Gap Railroad as early as 1860. His service to the war may have been civilian related. Alexander was the only male to carry on name, and died with out issue. Per family bible, he died in Louisa Co Courthouse in Va.
He is also in 1857 listed as a student ao Univ of Va and name is spelled Pritchartt
