The body of Mr. Dan Pearce, who died recently was brought here for burial January 1. Recently he spent several weeks among relatives here for the first time in thirty years. Upon his return to his home in Alabama, he was soon stricken with a stroke and died within a week. Burial was in the Pearce Cemetery.
